An American author who lived in Paris
I'm an Amazon bestselling author who lived in Paris for 11 years, and I now live in my hometown of St. Louis with my French husband, rambunctious son, and charming daughter, all of whom mercifully don't laugh when I say "au revoir." I prove daily that raising French kids isn't as easy as the hype lets on. In my snippets of spare time, I write, sip bubbly, and prepare for the impending zombie apocalypse.
I penned the Paris Confessions series, which includes:
Confessions of a Paris Party Girl
Confessions of a Paris Potty Trainer
Christmas Confessions & Cocktails
Confessions & Cocktails
I also share my ramblings on my blog and elsewhere on the internet. I love fondue, wine, math, and zombies. Everything's better with zombies.
What's this site about?
Much as my fans are begging me (ha!), I can only write so many books. This blog is a way to fill in the gaps and give you a glimpse of the crazy things that happen in my daily Parisian life. It's also a chance for me to interact with the people who so nicely read my work. I mainly write about Paris life, parenting, author life, and zombies. Check out my top stories to be sure you don't miss anything!
You don't sound busy enough, Vicki
That's right! In addition to raising two energetic kids and writing books, I also run a boutique publishing house, Velvet Morning Press, with fellow author Adria J. Cimino. When I'm not writing sentences with lots of commas (did you SEE that last sentence?) I'm usually listening to an audio book or dreaming about being an extra on The Walking Dead.
Get in touch
I'd love to hear from you! Shoot me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or stay in touch via Facebook or Twitter. I promise I'll reply! That is, until the Zombie Apocalypse happens, at which point I'll either be in a bunker or will be eating your brains.
